About Tina

Tina is a registered clinical counsellor, R.C.C who believes every one of us have a set of strengths, which can lead to positive change and help overcome challenges.  

Background

Tina holds a M.A. in Clinical Counselling from Adler University; and a B.A. with a major in Psychology from Simon Fraser University, BC.

Tina is Registered with BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, and practices as a clinical counsellor, RCC. 

 

Beside private practice, Tina provides family counselling, parenting support, couples counselling, and play therapy in the community. 

In addition to her experience in the field of psychological research, Tina served her community as a front line crisis interventionist for years and conducted psycho-educational workshops for parents and families. 

Also, Tina completed further training in Trauma informed care (TIC), Feedback informed treatment (FIT), Core addiction practice (CAP), Domestic violence training, The heart and soul of mental health and addiction (MHA), Distress services/Crisis intervention, PRISM training (LGBTQ2S), and Test administration and interpretation (Psychometrics):
